To get the best performance from your soy wax candle, always allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn, which may take 2 to 3 hours. This prevents tunneling and promotes an even burn throughout the life of the candle. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use to minimize soot and ensure a steady flame. Avoid burning the candle for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating. Keep the candle away from drafts, fans, and air vents, as these can cause uneven burning. Always extinguish the flame safely using a snuffer or by dipping the wick into the melted wax, then straightening it. Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration or frosting, which is a natural characteristic of soy wax. Discontinue use when about 1/2 inch of wax remains in the container. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and always keep it out of reach of children, pets, and anything flammable.
