Ceramic is a hardy material, considering its gone through various stages of handling and considerably high temperatures during making. However like anything else, it requires care while handling - wipe with a soft cloth, to maintain it's shine. These pieces have a food friendly glaze and are microwave and dishwasher safe. However for longevity, we'd recommend gentle hand wash.
