As we grow, weāre working on making shipping more efficient (and more affordable). But for now, this fee helps us make sure your art gets to you safely, straight from the source.

Since we work with independent artists and small collectives, we donāt allow cancellations once an order is placed. We encourage you to buy only what you truly love. This helps us reduce waste and honours the time, care, and effort behind every piece. Why doesnāt Kala Curry offer cash on delivery (COD)?
Most Kala Curry products are shipped directly by our artisans and made in small batches.
COD orders have 2ā3x higher return rates than prepaid orders, with nearly 1 in 4 orders being returned. These returns lead to unnecessary shipping, packaging waste, and higher carbon emissions, and directly impact artisan livelihoods.
By avoiding COD, we can:
- Reduce returns and environmental burden
- Ensure fair, predictable earnings for artisans
- Enable faster, smoother deliveries
