The martini stands tall—just like you, balancing on stilettos after one too many. The bartender is wiping down the counter, but you? You’re still undecided. Go home? Stay out? One more sip, and suddenly, the night has plans of its own.

The paintings have a bold and expressive style, featuring thick, textured brushstrokes that give a rich, almost impasto effect. The use of vibrant, contrasting colors and abstract backgrounds enhances the depth and energy of each composition. The structured yet slightly loose rendering of glass, ice, and garnishes adds a dynamic and contemporary touch to the classic still-life genre.

Hand-painted in oil paints on a framed canvas, with the frame seamlessly integrated into the artwork and included in the price. The artwork measures 12 x 12 inches, but we can customize the size to perfectly suit your space. This piece is sold separately.

Since each one is painted by hand, no two are exactly alike—so yours will be completely unique. We take 4-6 weeks to get it just right before shipping it out, but trust us, it’s worth the wait!

FAQs

Most commonly asked questions from the community

Why is there a shipping fee?

Each piece on Kala Curry is shipped directly from the artist or collective who made it, so your order might travel from different parts of the country depending on what you buy.

As we grow, we’re working on making shipping more efficient (and more affordable). But for now, this fee helps us make sure your art gets to you safely, straight from the source.

We offer free shipping on all orders over ₹5,000 as a small thank you for supporting handmade art.

How can I cancel my order?

Since we work with independent artists and small collectives, we don’t allow cancellations once an order is placed. We encourage you to buy only what you truly love. This helps us reduce waste and honours the time, care, and effort behind every piece. If you are unsure about a purchase and our website doesn’t answer all your questions, reach out to us at kalacurry.friends@gmail.com
